Development Review Committee (DRC)

The Development Review Committee (also-known-as the Friday Review) is comprised of the City’s Planning, Building, Public Works and Fire Department staff which reviews proposed developments within the City for compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Who needs to attend Friday Review?

  • Developers seeking preliminary review of proposed developments.
  • Business owners that want to learn what requirements need to be met to open their business 

How to Apply

  • Please apply through the Planning & Building Department portal and upload the supporting documentation (at a minimum a site plan and floor plan). Please see our how-to guide for the step-by-step process. 
  • There is a $20 fee (2% additional for Visa or Mastercard).
  • The application deadline is Friday by 5pm to be placed on the agenda for review the following Friday (with the submittal of all required documents).

Location & Time

  • Meetings are held within the Planning and Building department conference room. 
  • Meetings are typically every Friday morning starting at 8:30am on a first come first served basis for items on the agenda.
