Scheduled public meetings continue for Vision Plan Update

Next Community Meeting:  Monday, September 16, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at St. Augustine Yacht Club, 442 Ocean Vista Ave, St. Augustine, FL 32080

The City of St. Augustine and its consultant, the Northeast Florida Regional Council (NEFRC), will launch a series of public meetings to engage residents and stakeholders to update the City’s current 2014 Vision Plan, which was drafted through an extensive public process and formally adopted by the City Commission as a strategic guideline.  It was also used as a critical reference guide for the 2020 update of the city's Comprehensive Plan.

Since it was adopted 10 years ago, the City Commission recognizes the importance of reviewing the document and determining necessary updates.  In order to gather valuable input from the public, a series of public workshops have been scheduled at various locations around the city with the intent of providing convenient meeting locations to everyone.

The meetings will be held in the months of September, October, and November, concluding with a joint meeting in December comprised of three citizen boards: the Planning & Zoning Board (PZB), the Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB) and the Corridor Review Committee (CRC).

The final adoption of an updated Vision Plan will take place in January 2025.

The current schedule of public input meetings is:
