On Monday, December 2, at 7:30pm, the St. Augustine City Commission will meet for its organizational meeting in The Alcazar Room of City Hall, located at 75 King St.
During the meeting, those elected members of the Commission will take the oath of office, including Mayor Nancy Sikes-Kline and Commissioner Barbara Blonder, both who were re-elected, and Commissioner-elect Jon DePreter.
Once the new commission is seated, it will conduct a brief meeting to select a vice mayor and consider the resolution which establishes the commission's operating policies, rules, and procedures.
The reorganized commission will hold its first regular meeting and the only one in December on Monday December 9 at 5:00pm. The commission's regular meeting schedule of second and fourth Mondays will resume in January.
