Offices for the City of St. Augustine will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday, and the City Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 12.
Solid Waste collection services will remain on their regular schedules.
Parking in city-owned parking lots and on-street parking is free on all national holidays, including Veterans Day, except for the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility. City-owned parking lots and on-street parking will be free on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11.
Drivers are urged to confirm if a lot is owned by the City of St. Augustine and not a private operator as many of those lots have strict towing policies. Parking will be enforced for all vehicles parked illegally, including in areas reserved for delivery, franchised sightseeing vehicles and taxis, or vehicles on sidewalks or against yellow curbs.
