Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to hold a Public Workshop for the Lincolnville CRA Fix It Up

The City of St. Augustine Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host a public workshop for the Lincolnville CRA Fix It Up Residential Repair Grant Program on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Willie Galimore Community Center, located at 399 Riberia Street. The workshop will provide information on the most recent updates to the grant program and its benefits for Lincolnville’s long-term residents.

As identified in the Lincolnville Community Redevelopment Area (LCRA) Redevelopment Plan, the Fix It Up Residential Repair Grant Program provides income-qualified, owner-occupied households with essential home repairs. The goal of the program is to allow long-term residents to age in place by providing assistance to those who may not otherwise have the resources to complete essential health and safety repairs. 

At the October 28, 2024, CRA meeting, the board approved beneficial changes to the program. Following a brief presentation highlighting those changes, guest speakers will discuss the construction component of the program and a representative from St. Johns County Legal Aid will provide information to those who may be experiencing challenges related to clear title, probate, tax debt, and other property related legal matters. Finally, the floor will open for question and response. Light refreshments will be served.
