City of St. Augustine announces workforce parking rate reduction at Granada Lot

Monthly permits valid evenings and weekends

News Flash Posted on January 16, 2026

The City of St. Augustine Mobility and Parking Enforcement Division launched its Workforce Parking Program at the start of the Nights of Lights season in an effort to support businesses and employees working downtown and has reduced the Granada Lot permit to a rate of $25 per month.

Workforce permit parking applications are available for download online, or in person at the Customer Service Department, located at 50 Bridge Street.  Completed applications may be emailed to parking@citystaug.com or delivered in person to Customer Service.

Permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be available for pick-up in-person at Customer Service once the applicant is notified.  Permits issued in this permit cycle will expire on September 30, 2026.

All permits are issued annually and must be renewed each year. Renewal of previously approved applications will be given precedence.

Granada Lot Snapshot:

  • $25 Per Space, issued annually, prorated through September 2026
  • Monday through Friday, 6:00pm to 6:00am
  • Saturday and Sunday, all day
  • Parking spaces based on availability
  •  Business or Individual may apply

Workforce parking is strictly for employees and may not be used for valet or customer parking.  Parking enforcement staff will monitor all lots, and violations may result in fines or permit revocation.

For questions, contact Tara Bennie, Parking Supervisor, at 904‑825‑1090 or email parking@citystaug.com.  Full program details are available on the city’s Workforce Parking webpage.
