Lighthouse 5K and Fun Run

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum and the Junior Service League of St. Augustine host the Annual Lighthouse 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The 5K Race begins at 8:00 a.m., and the fun run starts at 9:00 a.m.  Starting and ending at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and running through Davis Shores. 

The USATF-certified 5K course is a flat 3.1-mile race through historic Lighthouse Park and the Davis Shores neighborhood. Top participants in each age category will receive awards. The Lighthouse 5K is a chipped race and a qualifier for the Gate River Run. This family-friendly event has activities for kids, including face painting and arts and crafts.

Runners and spectators can explore the lighthouse grounds and tower at no charge.
