The City of St. Augustine Neighborhood Services Neighborhood Grant Program (NGP) has proven to be a valuable tool among non-profit groups that desire to enrich local communities within the City of St. Augustine. Due to the awarded applications exhausting the NGP annual budgeted funds, the application acceptance period will not reopen for the remainder of the fiscal year. The next application acceptance period will open in the upcoming 2025-26 Fiscal Year, which begins on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Applications received before the October 1 application opening date will not be accepted and will need to be resubmitted when the new grant cycle begins.
Neighborhood Services is proud to congratulate the following non-profit organizations who were awarded NGP funds in support of their successful community improvement initiatives:
- St. Augustine Ravenswood Neighborhood Association
- Lincolnville Community Garden
- Uptown Business District
- Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County
- Best-Richardson African Diaspora
- Kids Bridge Supervised Visitation Center
- Lighthouse Park Community Garden
The NGP provides funding up to $3000 to formally and informally organized non-profit groups that undertake small-scale neighborhood improvement, enrichment, and enhancement projects or events. NGP funds accompanied with City staff’s technical assistance are designed to empower neighborhood organizations to effectively plan and implement neighborhood and community initiatives. Approved applications that meet minimum guidelines and requirements will be reviewed by the Neighborhood Grants Program Award Committee (NGPAC).
