City to host events for Earth Week

Limited spots for Fish Island Tours and Resiliency Walk

The City of St. Augustine will host several opportunities for the community to recognize Earth Week during the week of April 21, 2025.  Residents are invited to participate in events aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

The following events are free and open to the public:

  • Tuesday, April 22 – Fish Island Walking Tour (15 participants max, register here)
  • Thursday, April 24 – Resiliency Walking Tour (10 participants max, register here)
  • Friday, April 25 – Recycling & Shredding Event (More information here)
  • Saturday, April 26 – Fish Island Walking Tour (15 participants max, register here)

The free community recycle event on Friday, April 25, will take place at the Solid Waste Facility, located at 601 Riberia Street, from 9:00am – 1:00pm.  Residents can shred documents (limit 5 boxes per City of St. Augustine resident), recycle outdated or broken electronic devices, and dispose of used cooking oil.  No hazardous waste or televisions will be accepted.
