City solicits input for development of West City Community Redevelopment (WCCRA) Plan
Interactive map and survey available online; In-person opportunity for input on Wednesday, May 15
The City of St. Augustine Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is soliciting input from West City residents, businesses, and stakeholders in developing the West City Community Redevelopment (WCCRA) Plan.
The West City CRA was established in 2024 after assessing conditions within the neighborhood. The next steps in the redevelopment process will be to develop a WCCRA Redevelopment Plan, which aims to identify strategic goals and key components to address redevelopment opportunities through programs, projects, and initiatives.
The public will now have an opportunity to provide input, ideas, and feedback to help CRA staff identify the vital elements necessary to redevelop West City, making it a more vibrant place to live and work.
The City invites the public to submit input in three ways:
- Through a short online survey
- Through participating in an interactive West City map
- By visiting the WCCRA tent at the West King Wednesday market on Wednesday, May 15 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm on West King Street
For those who do not have access to the online resources, printed surveys and a large map for comments are available at City Hall (75 King Street) in Lobby B, 4th Floor in the Neighborhood Services and CRA Division.
