Starting on Monday, January 13 and continuing through Friday, February 14, manhole inspections and smoke testing of the City’s sanitary sewer system will take place throughout the City of St. Augustine and St. Johns County. Smoke testing is performed periodically to identify sources of storm water inflow and/or ground water infiltration entering the city’s sewage collection system.
The schedule of tests is as follows:
- January 13 – 17 (North of the NE Florida Regional Airport:
- Cordova Palms, Stokes Landing, Chasewoods, Verano Creek, Costal Village. One neighborhood south of the airport; Madeira
- January 20 – 24 (North St Augustine City Limits):
- Madeira, The Landing, Flagler Crossing, Old Sebastian Point, Woodcrest, Heritage Park
- January 27 – 31 (Northwest outside of City Limits):
- Heritage Park, San Salito, Coquina Ridge, Villages of Seloy, Olde Florida
- February 3 – 7 (Northwest & West outside of City Limits):
- The Lofts at Sebastian Cove, Sebastian Cove, Villages of Seloy, Ravenswood Village
- February 10 – 14 (South & East St. Augustine City Limits):
- North Davis Shores, Lincolnville, and Spanish Quarter
