Document shredding, used oil and electronics disposal offered at community recycle event
The City of St. Augustine will host its annual, free community recycle event on Friday, November 15, from 9:00am-1:00pm, at the Solid Waste Facility, located at 601 Riberia Street.
The City is offering an opportunity for the community to shred documents (5 box limit per City of St. Augustine residents), recycle outdated or broken electronic devices, and dispose of used cooking oil. You can watch as your documents are shredded on-site.
Items that will not be accepted at this event include TVs, hazardous waste, such as paint and pesticides, used tires, or motor oil.

Throughout the year, the City of St. Augustine accepts recyclable materials daily during regular business hours. You may take e-waste to the Solid Waste Facility, located at 601 Riberia St., and cooking oil to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 501 Riberia St.
