Reminder of parking garage closure and closure of nearby streets
On Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, the Sing Out Loud Festival will host multiple performances on Francis Field, impacting parking and adjacent road access.
Here is what you need to know:
Road Closures
The following road closures will take place beginning Friday, September 20 through Monday, September 23:
- Cordova Street, North from Orange Street to the entrance of the parking garage
Closed Friday at 5:00pm through Monday at 6:00am - Castillo Drive eastbound
Closed Friday night at 11:00pm through Monday at 6:00am - Castillo Drive westbound from San Marco
Closed Saturday at 11:00am through Sunday at 1:00am
Closed Sunday at 11:00am through Monday at 1:00am - Orange Street
Closed to through traffic Friday at 5:00pm through Monday at 6:00am
There will be security on Orange Street to make sure that the residents can get in and out as they need to.
Parking: Garage and Shuttle Service
Starting Friday, September 20, at 11:00pm, through Monday, September 23, at 1:00am the Historic Downtown Parking Facility will be closed to the public.
Free parking and shuttle service will be provided to the Visitor Information Center, from three parking locations:
- Broudy’s Lot, 198 & 212 W. King St., located at the intersection of US1 and King Street
Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 beginning at 8:00am until 12:00am - St. Johns County Health Department, 200 San Sebastian View
Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 beginning at 11:00am until 12:00am - San Marco Lot, 301 San Marco Ave.
Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 beginning at 11:00am until 12:00am - Colonial Church Lot, 550 State Road 207
Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 beginning at 2:00pm to 12:00am
STAR Circulator
STAR Circulator will operate from Noon to Midnight on both Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. The STAR Circulator will resume normal hours of operation, from 10:00am to 10:00pm, on Monday, September 23.
