Planning & Zoning Board (PZB)

The Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) is a volunteer citizen board, appointed by the City Commission, and is the State mandated land planning agency for the City. The Board reviews and grants zoning exceptions and variances as provided in the Zoning Code, hears appeals of any decision of the Planning and Building Department, and makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding the rezoning of land or changes to the Comprehensive Plan.
