Free Park & Ride shuttle returns during Nights of Lights season

Nights of Lights Park and Ride Schedule

City will provide service starting on Light-Up! Night, Saturday, November 18

The City of St. Augustine Free Park and Ride shuttle returns for the peak dates of Nights of Lights, starting on Light-Up! Night, Saturday, November 18.  Shuttle services will continue Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving Weekend (November 24 & 25), Saturdays in December, and the five days following Christmas, Tuesday, December 26 through Saturday, December 30.  In consideration of the Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 2, shuttle operations will begin at 8:00am.

The main shuttle will operate on Light-Up! Night from 1:00pm-11:00pm and from parking locations outside of the downtown Historic District: 

Light-Up! Night Special Shuttle on Anastasia Island

Only on Saturday, November 18, for Light-Up! Night, free park and ride shuttle services will be expanded to include roundtrip service along Anastasia Blvd., from 4:00pm to 11:00pm, picking up passengers at the following locations:

Passengers will be dropped off and picked up near the east end of the Bridge of Lions, at the corner of Gerado St. and Flagler Blvd. in North Davis Shores.

Shuttle service on Anastasia Island on Light-Up! Night is provided by Historic Tours of America and Ripley's Red Train Tours. 

Free Nights of Lights Park & Ride Shuttle north and west of downtown

Service will be provided on Saturday, November 18; Friday, November 24; Saturday, November 25, and Saturdays in December.  The five days following Christmas (Tuesday, December 26 through Saturday, December 30), the free parking and shuttle service is available ONLY at the Broudy's Lot.  

TIMES:  1:00pm - 11:00pm

WHERE TO PARK:  St. Johns County Health Department (all November dates and only Saturdays in December), 200 San Sebastian View

                                 Broudy’s Lot (corner of US 1 and W. King), 198 & 212 W. King St. (all dates)

                                 San Marco Lot, 301 San Marco Ave. (all dates)

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP: Visitor Information Center, 10 S. Castillo Dr.                  

NOTE: On Saturday, December 2, in consideration of the Christmas Parade, the shuttle will operate from 8:00am until 11:00pm.

Due to the increased traffic and congestion during the holidays, the St. Augustine STAR Circulator will operate a modified schedule from 10:00am to 5:00pm beginning on Saturday, November 18 through Monday, January 1, 2024. The STAR Circulator will resume normal operating hours, 10:00am to 10:00pm, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

The Free Park and Ride Shuttle is made possible by the City of St. Augustine with the cooperation of the St. Johns County Administration and funding support from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council. The special Anastasia Island shuttle on Light-Up! Night is made possible with the support of Historic Tours of America and Ripley’s Red Train Tours.
