City Commission schedules Nightlife Ordinance workshop

City Commission Workshop: Nightlife Ordinance

Public encouraged to attend meeting on Monday, August 21

On Monday, August 21, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, in The Alcazar Room of City Hall, the City Commission will host a public workshop to discuss the recently proposed nightlife ordinance that came before the commission on Monday, July 24.

Planning and Building Director Amy Skinner will open the workshop with an overview of the proposed ordinance and outline the primary concerns it aims to address. Members of the public in attendance will have an opportunity to make comments during the workshop.

At the conclusion of the meeting, if a member of the City Commission recommends that the proposed ordinance be reconsidered for a vote, it will be placed on a future meeting agenda.

A copy of the proposed ordinance is available here on the city’s website.

City Hall is located at 75 King Street.  The meeting will be live streamed at www.CityStAugTV.com and will be available for viewing on demand the following day.
