No change in solid waste schedule

Offices for the City of St. Augustine will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in observance of the Independence Day holiday, but solid waste collections will remain on their regular schedule.

Parking in City-owned parking lots and on-street parking is free on all national holidays, such as Independence Day, except for the Castillo de San Marcos parking lot and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility. Drivers are urged to confirm if a lot is owned by the City of St. Augustine and not a private operator as many of those lots have strict towing policies.

As a reminder, Fireworks Over the Matanzas, the City’s annual Independence Day celebration, will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.  For more information, including a map of the FREE Park and Ride shuttle on Anastasia Island, a schedule of events, street closures, and instructions for boaters, visit www.CityStAug.com/Fireworks.
