Galimore Community Pool summer schedule announced

Galimore Pool

Season opens starting on Friday, May 27 at 1:00pm

On Friday, May 27, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, the Galimore Community Pool will open its doors to kick off the 2022 summer swim season, and on Saturday, May 28, the pool will open for its regular hours of operation, starting at 10:00am.

The 2022 schedule will run from May 27 through September 30, with modified hours going into effect on August 8.  Hours of operation vary by day of the week and swim schedules will include times for lap swim, camp swim, and family swim.  Swim lessons will be announced when they become available.

The daily rate for admission to the pool is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children under 13 and seniors over 60.  Summer passes are also available for $39.00 for adults and $24.00 for children and seniors.  Credit cards, debit cards, and bills larger than $20 will not be accepted, but checks payable to The City of St. Augustine will be accepted.  Passes can be purchased at the pool starting Memorial Day weekend.  Small camp groups and other groups with six or more children will need to make a reservation through the YMCA.  For reservations, send an email to Megan Hansson.

For a complete schedule, visit; however, since programming is operated by the St. Augustine Family YMCA, specific questions regarding the pool schedules should be directed to the YMCA at 904.471-9622 or via email
