Projects, programs eligible for use of funds to be discussed

On Monday, February 28, at 4:00pm, the St. Augustine City Commission will meet to discuss spending priorities and determine eligible projects for the $7.7M American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding that has been granted to the City of St. Augustine.

The workshop is intended to provide an overview of the eligible use categories specified in ARPA and allow for public comment.  Items previously recommended for consideration include cybersecurity upgrades, upgrades to the utility monitoring system, septic to sewer projects, stormwater master plan development, wastewater treatment plant improvements, and solid waste and public safety equipment.

The meeting will be held in The Alcazar Room of City Hall, located at 75 King St. It can be live-streamed and viewed on-demand the following day here.  For those who are unable to attend in person, please submit an email to arpa@citystaug.com
