CodeRed is a high-speed telephone emergency notification service capable of sending out pre-recorded emergency messages to 1,000 phones a minute.
Initiated by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, residents are notified of public safety issues by the CodeRed system. Other agencies, including the St. Augustine Police Department and St. Augustine Fire Department are participants in the system and take full advantage of its features.
