The Department of Public Affairs assists organizations in their events when public property is utilized and manages the special events produced by the City of St. Augustine. When public property is utilized for activities and events such as film productions, parades, festivals, or weddings. A permit must be obtained through the Public Affairs office.
In addition, the department acts as the primary point of contact for the media with regards to city government activities, public information distribution, and all things relating to city matters that concern or involve it’s residents, visitors, business owners, and public officials. The Break Room
Listen to a weekly 15-minute program on WFCF, Flagler College Radio. The Break Room offers the community a behind-the scenes look at the day-to-day workings of city government through conversations with various city employees, engaged in a wide variety of work. The program airs on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. and again on Saturdays at 8 a.m. and may be heard at 88.5 FM.
