Workforce Parking
The City of St. Augustine Mobility and Parking Enforcement Division is announcing the availability of permanent workforce parking permits for businesses and employees working downtown, with a special focus on the service and hospitality industries.
Permit Locations and Eligibility
Businesses and individuals have three options for workforce parking permits. Fees will be prorated for the remainder of the fiscal year and are due within 15 days of approval.
- 24 Toques Place
- $79.88 per space per month
- Businesses only.
- 5-space minimum
- 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
This lot is reserved for permit holders only. Spaces are assigned and numbered. Approved businesses receive 40 color-coded, numbered hang tags for each block of parking spaces they purchase. The employer is responsible for issuing and maintaining these tags for employees.
- $25 per space per month
- Business or individual employee may apply.
- No employee minimums.
- First-come, first-served spaces.
- Mon - Fri: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. All day Sat & Sun.
Application Process
Workforce permit parking applications will be available starting Wednesday, November 5, 2025

- In-Person Pick-up: Applications can be picked up at the Customer Service Department, located at 50 Bridge Street.
- Submission: Completed applications may be:
- Emailed to parking@citystaug.com.
- Delivered in person to Customer Service.
- Issuance: Permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants will be notified when their permit is ready for in-person pick-up at Customer Service.
Permit Validity, Renewal, and Rules
Permit Expiration: Permits issued in this cycle expire on September 30, 2026.
Annual Renewal: Applicants must reapply annually. Renewal applications must be submitted between April 1 and July 1, 2026, for an effective date of October 1, 2026. Renewal of a previously approved application will be given precedence.
Intended Use: Permits are to be used only for shift work employees; they cannot be utilized for valet or customer parking.
Parking Compliance: Employees must park only in the spaces identified for the business and/or the lot selected on the approved application.
Enforcement: Parking enforcement staff will monitor all lots. Parking in a permitted spot outside of the permitted hours may result in a $100 fine. Misuse could result in the revocation of a permit.
