Meetings will offer opportunity for community input on Historic Preservation Master Plan
The City of St. Augustine, in cooperation with the St. Augustine Neighborhood Council, is hosting a series of public meetings to gather the community’s input for the development of the city’s first Historic Preservation Master Plan. The four scheduled meetings are planned to last one-hour each and will be held in different locations throughout the city. The public is encouraged to participate in this important process. The meeting’s dates and locations are:
- Tuesday, September 27, 6:00pm at the St. Augustine Yacht Club, 442 Ocean Vista Ave.
- Tuesday, October 4, 7:00pm at Crookshank Elementary School, 1455 N. Whitney St.
- Monday, October 17, 7:00pm at the Galimore Center, 399 Riberia St.
- Tuesday, October 18, 6:00pm at the Visitor Information Center (VIC), 10 W. Castillo Drive, (32084)
Input received from the community at each meeting will help identify ideas and priorities that will be used in the development of the goals and strategies necessary for the Historic Preservation Master Plan. This is an opportunity for the public to express what makes St. Augustine’s historic character unique and how it can be preserved with creative and functional planning tools.
