The Financial Services Department serves the community of St. Augustine by safeguarding the City’s assets, maximizing the use of city revenue and efficiently providing accurate and timely information to the City Commission, City Manager and the general public. As such, it is this department’s responsibility to plan for the City’s future financial needs and to implement responsible fiscal strategies for the City’s operation. In addition to Administration, Accounting and Information Technology, the Financial Services Department has oversight of the Customer Service Division.
As Director of Financial Services, Mark Litzinger is dedicated to a firm policy of excellence in customer service. Our friendly and helpful Customer Service Representatives are available during regular business hours to answer questions about utility billing, parking, vendor permits, licensing, and business tax receipts.
