Concerts in the Plaza

St. Augustine's 27th Season Ends

Next up, Concerts in the Plaza: The 28th season

On behalf of the more than 60 musicians who participated in the 27th season of Concerts in the Plaza, thank you to those who came to all, some, or only one of this season’s 14 performances.

The weekly event falls into a tradition shared by many communities: enjoying a concert in the town square on a summer night. About the only difference is that St. Augustine has a Plaza, not a square, and that our gatherings include residents and visitors enjoying great entertainment in a great place together.

There were some wonderfully pleasant evenings this summer, a couple of concerts cut short by rain, and the two that were cancelled were rescheduled in what we called The Extended Season. We thank all those who supported the rescheduled concerts as well.

Concerts in the Plaza, called "the best way to spend a Thursday night in St. Augustine," is produced by the City of St. Augustine's Public Affairs Department as a free cultural event for the city's residents and visitors and will return for its 28th season on May 31, 2018. When the schedule is announced, it will appear first at HERE, so visit and bookmark this page now.
