SMART St. Augustine

Public Open House

The City of St. Augustine held a Public Open House on October 22, 2024, as part of the Project Development and Environment Study process for the SMART St. Augustine project that will deploy Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) throughout the city. The project is included in the larger area's SMART Region Master Plan prepared in 2018 by the North Florida TPO and further refined in the SMART St. Augustine Master Plan adopted in 2019. Funding is through non-federal contributions and a competitive federal Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Grant applied for in 2022 out of which this project was one of 148 selected.
