Historic Downtown Parking Facility

Adjacent to the Visitor Information Center (VIC), this 1,200-space parking facility offers convenient, 24/7 parking in the heart of Historic Downtown. It is within walking distance of St. George Street, San Marco Avenue, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, and Francis Field. The facility is used by visitors, downtown employees, Flagler College students, and those attending events or shopping.

Here's what you need to know about the Historic Downtown Parking Facility (HDPF):

  • $20 per vehicle, per entry, during peak times (7am - 5pm)*
  • $5 per vehicle, per entry, during off-peak times (5pm - 9pm)*

St. Johns County Resident Discount 

St. Johns County residents are eligible for a discounted parking rate of $3 per entry at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility (standard rate: $20 per entry*).

How to obtain the resident discount:

  1. Visit ParkStAug.com to apply for the resident discount.
  2. Click on Resident Discount (ParkNow) in the top menu bar to Register your vehicle license plate(s) and provide proof of St. Johns County residency.
  3. Once approved, the discount will be applied to your account within 14 business days. When you pull into the garage, your license plate will be scanned. A registered and approved plate will let the attendant know to charge the discounted rate of $3.

Monthly Parking Pass

Monthly Parking Passes are available to residents and non-residents for $32 per month (before tax). Passes are sold at the customer service window on the first floor of the Historic Downtown Parking Facility and must be renewed monthly.

To obtain a pass:

  1. Enter the garage and pay the standard entrance fee.
  2. Bring your paid entrance receipt, driver’s license, and vehicle registration to the customer service window.
  3. Complete the registration form.
  4. Pay for the monthly pass (entrance fee will be credited toward the pass).

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A monthly pass does not guarantee a parking space.

Overnight Parking

Overnight parking for RVs, tour buses, and trailers is available by permit only in the designated lot on Riberia Street. Permits cost $35 plus tax and are available at the HDPF business office.

  • Camping is not allowed
  • No access to electricity or cable
  • The City of St. Augustine is not responsible for vehicle security or safety
